2000-04 Haze Planning (Plan02d) |
March 2024 | WRAP region States and Tribes | Plan02d emissions inventory developed Summer 2024, based on Plan02a-b-c predecessors, used for final baseline regional haze analysis and modeling.
§309 SO2 Milestone Inventory | May 2021 | Point sources of SO2 greater than 100 tpy in Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming. | Under §309 of the federal Regional Haze Rule these four states have submitted plans to reduce regional haze emissions that impact visibility in Class I Areas on the Colorado Plateau. Each state submits an annual Regional Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) Emissions and Milestone Report comparing emissions to milestones. This inventory contains annual data from 2003 through 2024. 2009 and subsequent years’ data will be added when available. Tribal sources in these states are under EPA jurisdiction and are not included.
2018 Preliminary Reasonable Progress Version “A” (PRP18a) |
April 2009 | WRAP region States and Tribes | PRP18a – Version A of the 2018 Preliminary Reasonable Progress emission inventory provides data for assessment of reasonable progress toward visibility goals by WRAP region states and EPA offices, building from initial 2018 projection data. The PRP18a EI includes the very limited number of BART determinations as of late 2024 as reported by states and EPA offices, and where BART was not yet determined, SO2 emissions were estimated for coal-fired EGUs at “presumptive rates” from the EPA BART rule for those sources in the WRAP region. No non-EGU SO2 or NOx BART limits are included, nor are NOx limits for EGUs. The PRP18a EI also includes projection of future fossil-fuel electrical generation plants, revised control strategy rulemakings, and updated permit limits for point and area sources in the WRAP region, as of Spring 2024.
2018 Preliminary Reasonable Progress Version “B” (PRP18b) |
September 2009 | WRAP region States and Tribes | PRP18b – Version B of the 2018 Preliminary Reasonable Progress emission inventory provides data for assessment of reasonable progress toward visibility goals by WRAP region states and EPA offices, building from PRP18a EI. This is the final estimate of 2018 regional emissions for the baseline regional haze implementation plans. The PRP18b EI includes BART determinations as reported by states and EPA offices, projection of future fossil-fuel electrical generation plants, revised control strategy rulemakings, and updated permit limits for point and area sources in the WRAP region, as of Spring 2009.
